SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. seems to have been a 'change' in the weather with rain most certainly back on the agenda, plus added wind and chill. Might be a passing thing, might be start of a wind-down of the year... Can't grumble, i guess; it's been a nice summer... OK, I can grumble. Grand walk over Todmorden Moor today. We had no intention on setting out, but just kept going past Stones road & Sourhall, because we thought, why not? The rain did start before we got home, but nothing on the scale of what was coming down last night, so all good. Esme made a tomato soup for tea (accompanied by some nice pasties from Tod Almighty).

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. yes, yes; changing seasons & all that. Ticking along, happily enough. Eve is traveling up this evening/night as she has a dental appointment from a while back, arriving tomorrow in the next town over. At home Esme wanted to do a Sunday lunch (veg, veggie sausage, & & veggie gravy). Eve will be too worn to to have her portion when she arrives.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Largely low key easy going. It's the last of the Summer Hols so back to a different schedule tomorrow. Rained on a little (it's good for the ground). We took so long on the trip to the shops, Esme said she got bored & started making bread (in the bread maker). She also had a craving for nachos for tea, so i am still stuffed.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Well, we thought we might get up early in case Jack & Gina might drop by, but we didn't & they didn't so that was all fine. A nice morning walk around the park & there were quite a lot of people (families) out so that was good to see. Esme went out to see Mia (first time they've met up for a while now) & while she was out I made Louise & I iced mochas (shaken in a stainless steel vacuum flask I have) & it seems I did alright... so I made mochas for Jack & Gina as they dropped by shortly thereafter. Filled up their water for the camper van & they were off again as they're enjoying themselves at a gig in Halifax tonight.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. So much sun today. All my activity was yesterday with a garden tidy, so today, being a Sunday, got Sunday level of activity. Not that today is a Sunday-esque Sunday as I've taken tomorrow off work - yay.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. woke at 08:30 but (somehow) managed ao grab another hour of indulgence, drifting on inconsequential dreams... which is a pretty good was to start a Sunday (maybe the only better way to start a Sunday is for it to be Saturday). Anyway, up & nearly doing... (avoiding doing more accurately) then a quick jaunt out to Aldi get get the temperature of the day (warmer, most definitely). I do enjoy drawing these comics; it's a little anchor on doing something that's at the core of me, which the rest of a working week doesn't really allow. However, that was a deliberate choice to not mix work & pleasure.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference: August & alleged summer (not that it doesn't feel like summer since May). A 'Stay in town' day, a walk though the park to & from the shops day. Ease through the day; get a few things done & laze about. There's always more do do another day.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference: while Eve is visiting, she's only just turned up (21:20) because she's been on a social whirl :)
less so for us, i guess, as ... it's Sunday & we're asking it easy; me drawing, Louise crocheting, & Esme made some bagels.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference: I've kind of been lazy today, but i guess we've been kind of restricted by the rain that persisted, around the part they have installed new numbers to signify the things that were once there but now re no longer, i guess a bit like the fallen tree whose roots are still consumed by the fungus that flowers so well nearby.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference: Inertia took some time today... and it was hot.
Louise has been studiously knitting a lovely (little cotton rabbits) mouse (end of term gift, and end of term looms). Eve came up from London yesterday and was out last night. Ben good to see her today :) Jack's been up most of the week doing daily reversion for a 7 hour ('chartered') exam this week. They'll both be off back to London tomorrow. Anyway - inertia did propel us for a nice evening walk (lovely light) and I've ended up with near 22,000 steps.
