SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Happy Birthday to Louise ?. Plans today to go & see a film (The Mastermind) at Hebden Bridge with Caroline, so we were up .... with some alacrity. It's been Half Term & so I've taken a week off to be with Louise; we've managed to get a few things done, bit today was our last day before 'back to it' tomorrow, so we set off in good time for a morning walk & to get to the shops for a few things. Then back to draw & draw to complete a page before setting out. It's been a good day all in all (although I've been a bit slack this evening). It's a good film; recommended.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Nice day, but would have been a vast improvement to have some nice weather too. Never mind, the rest of the week should be good & I'm not working this week as I've taken the week off to be with Louise (?) as it's half term.

I would not say we were up early; compared to weekdays certainly not, but compared to other Sundays, I woke up & got up because we knew that wile the day started bright there was a big (boring) rain front on the way. Not a treacherous one to fill rivers, but one to keep you indoors (and we do like a bit of outdoors & up hills on a weekend if we can). Up to where old sediments, frozen in time & scoured out of the earth by the patience or glaciers, wind & rain protrude from the hillsides along the valley.
Then back home to the warm, to hide from the outside.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. We went to Manchester with Esme & came back with Jude. A little unexpected, but Jude decided to come over for a mentioned Sunday to Monday Stay (Esme came over Friday). I'm a bit stuffed as we had a stop my at Sugar Junction for a sarnie & then had a pizza later.
Full day.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Today, with no internet, I guess I've spent less time on idle things. I did make an awful mess in the kitchen knocking over a brewing coffee early on & that ... took a while to tidy & the days new clothes went straight to the Washing machine.
Louise is better today after having caught a nasty cough however Esme seems to have caught it over in Manchester (all the student mixing I guess).
No reply to a ticket raised to my ISP, so the internet has remained off all day. If the mobile signal was better this would be less of an issue.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. I guess this is the first weekend it's been just Louise & myself at home, with Esme off at Uni now. Eve has a new room in London now as well, so hopefully that will all work well. what didn't make the edit today were cows & sheep and my aching feet as the shoes i wore today, while the most waterproof i had (it rained a lot last night so i thought, "there will be mud" - there was not) they are not the most comfortable.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Jack has come a-visiting; good to see him. Waking to clear skies was especially nice today after yesterdays deluge. sets a god tone, so lets keep a good tone going. Around the park to get some shopping (tomatoes for soup, which we've just had - very nice, thank you) And we're going to settle to watch a film now (title as yet undecided)

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. seems to have been a 'change' in the weather with rain most certainly back on the agenda, plus added wind and chill. Might be a passing thing, might be start of a wind-down of the year... Can't grumble, i guess; it's been a nice summer... OK, I can grumble. Grand walk over Todmorden Moor today. We had no intention on setting out, but just kept going past Stones road & Sourhall, because we thought, why not? The rain did start before we got home, but nothing on the scale of what was coming down last night, so all good. Esme made a tomato soup for tea (accompanied by some nice pasties from Tod Almighty).

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. yes, yes; changing seasons & all that. Ticking along, happily enough. Eve is traveling up this evening/night as she has a dental appointment from a while back, arriving tomorrow in the next town over. At home Esme wanted to do a Sunday lunch (veg, veggie sausage, & & veggie gravy). Eve will be too worn to to have her portion when she arrives.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Largely low key easy going. It's the last of the Summer Hols so back to a different schedule tomorrow. Rained on a little (it's good for the ground). We took so long on the trip to the shops, Esme said she got bored & started making bread (in the bread maker). She also had a craving for nachos for tea, so i am still stuffed.
