SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. nearing christmas, shorted days and just that bit tired around the edges even with being responsible with sleep... such are the darkest days, I guess (darkest days of the year).
We have all Esme, & Eve & Jack back for Christmas now (Jude still has shifts).

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Just a quick day out to Halifax today to pick a few things up. That all went quite well. and while it was raining, it was not heavy rain & so not so dismal. All in all that went pretty well. I did not take many photos for reference, so it might be said this is not so interesting, but in a way its a truer reflection (I guess).

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Truly pleasant to have a sunny start to the say; so rouse enough from slumber to realise there's a glow to the world. Bumble was trying to urge us to get up because cats gonna love being out in the sun.
Still cold, but if you walk briskly you don't notice it. And there were other people about where we usually have the hillsides and paths to (mostly) ourselves.
Eve's coming up for a few days tomorrow (dentist thing) so a little extra shopping and a little tidying to be done. The dehumidifier in the front room decided it wanted to keep collecting water rather than turn off when full so we have a bit of a damp patch in the carpet. Annoying and hopefully a one off.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. it's been a quiet weekend - the first for a while when we've not been obliged. Still, up by nine; let us try to make the most of this unpredictably soggy day... which involved a nearly sufficient amount of walking (would have done more, but for the avoidance of rain) and a lot of comfortable sitting about. Some drawing from me, & some knitting from Louise & a general air of contentment.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Up early (because it was sunny & the cat wanted to go out). OK, time enough for a trim, then. We are fully in the progress of Autumn now, and we'll need to bring in the vulnerable plants soon. The twig I've been drawing all year is just a twig again (such are cycles). A Jaunt to Manchester to see Esme back to digs and a walk around redeveloping areas as the sun went down with Jack. That and some wobbly (vibrating) lines on the train while I draw people.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. today was essentially a trip to Bradford on the train (BDI) to visit Louise's mum at the Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI). It got dark on the Journey home, which seemed wrong; I guess I'm not used to the closing in of the days. It also brought home it's been a bit of a busy & tiring week.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Happy Birthday to Louise ?. Plans today to go & see a film (The Mastermind) at Hebden Bridge with Caroline, so we were up .... with some alacrity. It's been Half Term & so I've taken a week off to be with Louise; we've managed to get a few things done, bit today was our last day before 'back to it' tomorrow, so we set off in good time for a morning walk & to get to the shops for a few things. Then back to draw & draw to complete a page before setting out. It's been a good day all in all (although I've been a bit slack this evening). It's a good film; recommended.

SundayComic: comic drawn on Sundays from Life and photo-reference. Nice day, but would have been a vast improvement to have some nice weather too. Never mind, the rest of the week should be good & I'm not working this week as I've taken the week off to be with Louise (?) as it's half term.

I would not say we were up early; compared to weekdays certainly not, but compared to other Sundays, I woke up & got up because we knew that wile the day started bright there was a big (boring) rain front on the way. Not a treacherous one to fill rivers, but one to keep you indoors (and we do like a bit of outdoors & up hills on a weekend if we can). Up to where old sediments, frozen in time & scoured out of the earth by the patience or glaciers, wind & rain protrude from the hillsides along the valley.
Then back home to the warm, to hide from the outside.
