I would not say we were up early; compared to weekdays certainly not, but compared to other Sundays, I woke up & got up because we knew that wile the day started bright there was a big (boring) rain front on the way. Not a treacherous one to fill rivers, but one to keep you indoors (and we do like a bit of outdoors & up hills on a weekend if we can). Up to where old sediments, frozen in time & scoured out of the earth by the patience or glaciers, wind & rain protrude from the hillsides along the valley. Then back home to the warm, to hide from the outside.
